Winter Rates 2023

We have two different room types at Asterix Lodge, with all rooms having ensuites:

  • Rooms 1-6 – have two double beds and two single bunk style beds and sleep 6 people in total; and
  • Rooms 7-9 – have two double bed bunks and sleep 4 people.

At Asterix Lodge we don’t allow room sharing across multiple bookings and you incur additional charges for any spare beds in your room.

Guests under the age of 18 are charged as children. Children under the age of 2 stay free.

Room allocations may be changed by the Booking Manager and Lodge Manager based on the size of the booking, (i.e. the number of beds required) at any time. Room allocations will be notified on arrival at the lodge.

How to book?

Bookings can be made via our online booking form.

Asterix Lodge will shortly be releasing an online booking system to provide live availability.

Check In and Check Out

Check in time is strictly 5:00 pm.   No access to the lodge is available prior to this time. Guests are respectfully asked to check with the Manager before occupying their allocated bedroom.

Check out time is 2:00 pm on the day of departure.

Cancellation Policy

If a booking is cancelled due to Covid-19 restrictions, quarantine, or positive case then a full refund will be available.  Alternatively, a credit can be accepted.

A cancellation fee is payable of $50 per person for all cancellations (unrelated to Covid-19). If cancellation is:

  • More than 7 days before the booking commencement date, deposits or balances (less cancellation fee) will be refunded or credit provided.
  • Within 7 days of the booked period, a credit will be provided to allow booking for a later period. Where the room is rebooked then a refund can be arranged.

Payment for accommodation will be refunded in full on total closure of all tows on the grounds of insufficient snow, if accommodation is not utilised.
