We have two different room types at Asterix Lodge, with all rooms having ensuites:

  • Rooms 1-6 – have two double beds and two single bunk style beds and sleep a maximum 6 people in total; and
  • Rooms 7-9 – have two double bed bunks and a maximum sleep 4 people.

Booking Terms & Conditions

  • At Asterix Lodge we don’t allow room sharing across multiple bookings and you incur additional charges for any spare beds in your room. This additional charge is selected by you as the ‘spare’ rate.
  • Guests under the age of 18 are charged as children. Children under the age of 2 stay free, but are included in the maximum people per room.
  • Rooms can be selected at the time of booking, however the Booking Officer or Lodge Manager reserve the right to reallocate rooms where it benefits the club and may be be changed at anytime prior to the commencement of your booking, without notification.
  • Room allocations will be confirmed on arrival at the lodge.
  • Bookings made for weekends must book both Friday and Saturday nights.
  • Midweek bookings must be a minimum of 2 nights.
  • Guest bookings will be made using the Asterix Lodge Epidote booking site. 
  • Credit card payment surcharges are incorporate in the booking costs.

Check In and Check Out

Check in time is strictly 5:00 pm.   No access to the lodge is available prior to this time. Guests are respectfully asked to check with the Manager before occupying their allocated bedroom.

Check out time is 2:00 pm on the day of departure.

Cancellation Policy

If a booking is cancelled due to Covid-19 restrictions, quarantine, or positive case then a full refund will be available.  Alternatively, a credit can be accepted.

A cancellation fee is payable of $50 per person for all cancellations (unrelated to Covid-19). If cancellation is:

  • More than 7 days before the booking commencement date, deposits or balances (less cancellation fee) will be refunded or credit provided.
  • Within 7 days of the booked period, a credit will be provided to allow booking for a later period. Where the room is rebooked then a refund can be arranged.

Payment for accommodation will be refunded in full on total closure of all tows on the grounds of insufficient snow, if accommodation is not utilised.
